Cape Town - Shocking new claims of a horrific attack on a teenage prostitute by a couple emerged on Monday night.

A 52-year-old man and his 38-year-old girlfriend appeared in court on Monday on rape and kidnapping charges.

They were arrested late last week after allegedly subjecting the teen to a terrifying rape and hostage ordeal. The Belhar couple have been remanded in custody until next week.

Meanwhile, cops are investigating allegations surrounding the teenager’s 12-hour rape hell.

These include claims that:

* The man allegedly raped her repeatedly the whole night without wearing condoms;

* It is claimed he also raped her anally while his girlfriend licked her vagina and fondled her breasts;

* They allegedly tortured her and pulled out some of her braids;

* It is claimed the man filmed the sex acts on a cellphone.

One neighbouron Monday night told how the room where the sex hostage horror occurred resembled the set of a pornographic movie.

“There was a plain mattress on the floor and blinds on the windows. It was dark,” the woman – who went to the house to retrieve the girl’s belongings – told the Daily Voice.

“There was also a bottle of Vaseline on the floor.

The woman said she saw a chair near the mattress and some of the victim’s braids strewn across the floor.

It is alleged the man picked up the 18-year-old sex worker in Main Road in Kenilworth on Thursday night.

He and his girlfriend allegedly had a threesome with the teen prostitute but then refused to let her leave.

Local residents came to her aid after they saw her running from the house naked and screaming for help on Friday.

After escaping, the victim was taken to Belhar Police Station and the couple were arrested a short time later.

The couple will have to spend another week behind bars after the case was postponed until April 15 pending further bail information.

A neighbour said the girl told her the man also used drugs and tried to force her to take them too but she refused.

Residents on Monday signed a petition demanding the couple be kept off the streets.

“We are taking the streets back – our children, our women… nobody is safe. Enough is enough,” local CPF secretary Fahgmeeda Ameerodien said.
