Two police constables will appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate's Court for corruption.
|||Two police constables will appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate's Court on Monday for corruption, Western Cape police said.
Captain Frederick van Wyk said the men, aged 31 and 32, bribed a taxi driver.
He said they pulled over the taxi on Spine road, in Rocklands, on Friday morning for reckless driving.
“After discussing the matter with the driver and receiving R140 in cash, the driver was told to leave.”
The men were arrested that afternoon. – Sapa
